Fleming Howland worked with Alexander McQueen on bespoke furniture for retail environments across London, New York and Macau.

The furniture was developed to function as part of the architecture rather than as an applied layer, resolved through the same process of material consideration, structural thinking and attention to proportion that underpins the wider interior.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Each piece was developed in response to the requirements of its setting. Work spanned concessions within Bloomingdale's, NYC and Harrods, with the same emphasis on proportion, structural integrity and consistency carried through to the Four Seasons Hotel Macau.

The collaboration involved direct engagement with our workshop, allowing decisions around material, construction and finish to be resolved through the making process.

Across each location, the furniture was developed to sit naturally within the interior, contributing to the overall scheme without unnecessary emphasis.
