Fleming Howland manages global delivery through selected logistics partners experienced in high-value, large-scale furniture handling. Deliveries to the United Kingdom, United States, France and Belgium include a white glove service: two-person delivery, room-of-choice placement and packaging removal. Other destinations are arranged as kerbside delivery unless white glove service is requested and confirmed in advance; surcharges may apply.
Furniture of this scale is routed through specialist transport channels rather than standard courier networks. Scheduling is therefore planned around safe handling, suitable vehicles, customs requirements and regional delivery routes.
Stage 1: Release and collection planning
Following final payment, your consignment is released for collection planning. This stage usually takes 5–7 working days and applies to all delivery zones.
Stage 2: Carrier scheduling
The delivery partner will schedule your consignment into the next suitable route or freight movement. This planning stage usually takes 5–7 working days and applies to all delivery zones.
Stage 3: Final delivery by zone
United Kingdom and European Union
Once scheduled, final delivery is usually completed within 10–15 working days, subject to regional route availability.
United States
United States orders are consolidated for the next scheduled container departing the Fleming Howland workshop, usually once per month. Timing will depend on the order completion date in relation to the next container departure. Ocean sailing time is approximately 10 working days, followed by inland white glove delivery from our New Jersey distribution hub, usually 10–15 working days depending on distance.
Other international zones
Delivery schedules are based on ocean freight availability, customs clearance and final destination routing. Ocean freight transit is typically 2–6 weeks, with final delivery arranged once the consignment has reached the destination port and cleared customs.
Access and special requirements
Exact delivery times are confirmed directly by the carrier in line with scheduled routes. Restricted access, fixed time slots, equipment hire, fast-track courier services or non-standard delivery requirements must be advised in advance; additional charges or delays may apply.
